Dr. Rou Voon Teo brings a unique blend of international perspective and expertise to the field of dentistry. Originally from Malaysia, Dr. Teo moved to the United Kingdom in 2018 where she graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honors) from University of Dundee. As an undergraduate, she has been awarded multiple distinctions for her academic achievements as well as the St Andrew Dental Alumni prize for her active involvement in research projects centered around anxiety management and innovative teaching. After graduating, she underwent intensive training and mentoring whilst serving a vibrant community in Scotland where she developed proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures.

Dr. Teo is passionate in her career development and stays abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the highest standard of care to her patients. This is reflected in her active participation in professional development programs on digital and restorative/cosmetic dentistry, which she has special interests in. Dr. Teo understands dental visits can often be accompanied with anxiety or apprehension, hence, she prioritizes patient comfort and well-being at every step and prides herself on her gentle and friendly demeanor.

Benefitting from the exposure of a diverse upbringing, Dr. Teo is fluent in both English and Chinese with basic competence in Cantonese. Outside of dentistry, she is a huge enthusiast in music, art, and cooking.

Dr Ekaterina Voranava joined us from Sydney’s eastern and southern suburbs practices. Originally from Belarus, she graduated from Belarussian State Medical University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2008.

She then moved to Australia to further her career where she earned her qualifications from Perth WA. She also spent time at The Royal Hospital of Melbourne.

Dr Ekaterina strives to find the safest and least invasive treatments ensuring healthy and beautiful smiles for her patients. She has a special interest in preventative dentistry and interceptive orthodontics, likes treating adults and children alike.

Having been raised amongst doctors, Dr Ekaterina always had that passion and desire to help others. With her compassionate nature and love for science, she always knew that she is best suited for a career in healthcare.

Away from dentistry, Dr Ekaterina loves spending time with her family and leading a healthy and active lifestyle. She enjoys cooking, travelling and practising yoga and meditation.

Dr. Bridget completed her studies at the University of Adelaide and returned to her home city of Sydney to practice dentistry. She enjoys all the intricacies of dentistry, from the satisfaction of restoring a beautiful smile to providing the care needed when the unexpected occurs. She is a gentle dentist who aims to provide the best of care at all times. Away from the clinic, she enjoys adventuring in and exploring new places, martial arts, and cooking delicious food.

Dr. Sarah Hu is a qualified dental professional, holding a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics from the City of London Dental School. Originally from Sydney, Dr. Sarah completed her secondary education at Pymble Ladies’ College and her undergraduate studies at the University of New South Wales before relocating to Melbourne to pursue her dental career.

With a dedication to continuing education, Dr. Sarah embarked on a three-year postgraduate residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at the esteemed City of London Dental School. Currently, she is furthering her expertise with a two-year postgraduate residency specializing in Clear Aligner Therapy.

Dr. Sarah possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in orthodontics, orthopaedics, and early interceptive treatment. She is certified in various clear aligner systems, including Invisalign, Spark, and Angelalign, as well as proficient in working with Damon self-ligating brackets.

In addition to her clinical skills, Dr. Sarah is fluent in Mandarin, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population. She provides orthodontic care at clinics located in City, Eastwood, Dickson, and Phillip, catering to the orthodontic needs of a wide range of patients.

Dr. Farzana Nazerali was born in the West Midlands, England (UK). The first to go to university from her family, her desire to pursue dentistry was inspired by the complex practical nature of the profession, underpinned by the problem-solving and scientific application. She graduated from Cardiff University Dental School in 2011 (UK) with Honours going on to work in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery within the hospital, Community Dental Services, and general practice. After relocating to Sydney in January 2020 with her husband and beautiful daughters, Dr. Farzana cannot wait to attend to all aspects of general dentistry. She loves to work with anxious patients providing a relaxed environment and unhurried appointments. In her spare time, Dr. Farzana loves to shop, is a total foodie, and cannot wait to explore the beauty of Australia along with her family.

Dr William Edmeades enjoyed a very international upbringing although his formative years in education were spent in Oxfordshire, England. He graduated from the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2005 with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery. ​Dr Edmeades spent several years working in oral and maxillofacial surgery in the UK and has pursued post graduate qualifications in oral implantology orthodontics and facial injectables. A dedicated general dental surgeon, Dr Edmeades’ clinical interests are in oral surgery, implantology, and in oral and cosmetic rehabilitation. Dr Edmeades is especially interested in using the latest technologies to restore oral health, and in the intimate connection between oral health and overall health. He takes a holistic approach when treating patients and when appropriate, liaises with other specialists to deliver the very best level of care for people. Dr Edmeades is passionate about preventive dentistry, discussing modifiable factors with patients that could help improve oral and potentially overall health too. He is also passionate about charity work and is now offering oral health care to specific individuals who will benefit from treatment. Previously, Dr Edmeades has enjoyed charity work all over the world, including Mozambique, Laos, and Kenya, and is currently involved more locally. Away from dentistry, Dr Edmeades has a passion for climbing, which he combines with his love of travel. Travel is one of his favourite subjects to chat about, along with politics, farming, gadgets and technology.

Dr EJ Lie has a dental degree and pharmacy degree. Our multiskilled dentist graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry with Honours and a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy. With her commitment to professional development, Dr EJ has completed the Orthodontics 2 course at the University of Sydney. She also finished Asid 1-3 (Australian Society of Implant Dentistry) and completed Robert London cadaver implant course. She keeps up to date in all facets of dentistry by attending courses. She is currently enrolled in POS (Progressive Orthodontic Seminars). Dr EJ enjoys endodontics and is interested in orthodontics, implants, and cosmetic dentistry. She loves being a dentist that she makes herself personally responsible for looking after her patients’ health and wellbeing. Dr Lie loves new dental technology and using the latest dental toys, she endeavours to make each visit as gentle and painless as possible. Our multilingual dentist can speak English, Chinese and a little bit of Vietnamese. To add to her current wealth of knowledge, she is now learning to speak Bahasa. Dr EJ is a proud dog mum to her Japanese spitz baby called Millie. She loves dogs, music, books and languages.
